Invisible Touch was excited to work with the amazing Vanessa Rockafellow, and her hardworking event staff at the

Corporate holiday parties are often thought of as a mundane and expensive yearly obligation. Perhaps, this is true…. If you are a certain Charles Dickens’ character and “Bah hum bug” is your mantra in life.
Even in a struggling economy, company holiday parties are a high light of the holiday season, and of the corporate work year. Given the right circumstances, a corporate holiday party has the ability to help the employers, employees, and even the community.
How can they help the employer?
As employers, it is important to let your team members know that their hard work is appreciated. Appreciation isn’t expressed solely in the size of your budget, but in the thought and effort put into planning a memorable event. It is hard to let your employees know just how valuable they are to you on a daily basis. Holiday parties are a great way to show each and every employee that they are valuable to your company and that your company is grateful for their hard work. How valuable are your employees to you?
How can they help the employees?
Corporate holiday parties are the one night of the year where every employee from the custodian up to the CEO can come together, shake off the stress of work, and have fun. If employees are given a chance to laugh and relax with their coworkers away from their typical business environment, then they will build bonds that will be visible throughout the year.

How can they help the community?
Corporate holiday parties can also present a chance to help those less fortunate in your community. Your company can band together by doing something as simple as donating toys to your local Toys for Tots or as outrageous as auctioning their supervisors with the proceeds going to a worthwhile charity. Be sure to show thanks to your local community for their continued patronage throughout the year.
Let your event reflect your business.
Corporate holiday parties are so much more than mindless chatter around a watered down punch bowl while playing Secret Santa. Let your holiday party reflect the unique spirit of your corporation. If you want to experience a little decadence, then plan an evening where everyone can put on their finest and spin their partners around dance floor. If you need to unwind, then a night everyone can belt out some wild karaoke tunes while dancing to high energy music. The important thing is to plan what feels best for your business.
It’s not too late to start planning!
There is still time to plan the holiday party that your employees will be talking about for the upcoming New Year. Invisible Touch can help you plan that holiday event with a “WOW!” factor.
We have everything you need to create anything from an elegant evening of dinner and dancing to a high impact night of Karaoke in a club like atmosphere. The sky is the limit!
Contact us at 800-564-3472 and let us design a corporate event that will set the tone for a year of success, and strengthened team bonds in 2012.
City of Hope had an amazing event on Saturday July 16th at the beautiful Paradise Hill Hotel. We were thrilled to be a part of the night and provided lighting for the entire event. Our DJ’s kept the music flowing through out the night and from what we could tell it helped to keep everyone moving and playing in the Casino themed party. It was great to be part of the evening and working with City of Hope is always a wonderful experience.

Adding lighting to your wedding reception is the easiest way to impress your guests. Décor lighting can transform a simple room into an elegant and beautiful space, or enhance the décor in any lavishly decorated ballroom. How much or how little to add? This is where style, budget, and imagination come in. There are many different styles of lighting that produce different effects.
A few up lights to frame the sweetheart and cake tables is a great start. You could opt to accent any columns, arches, or the entire perimeter with lights in your favorite color. This is a very effective way to make sure that your guests get the “Wow” factor when they walk in.
You may c
hoose to have your floral centerpieces lit from above. This is known as pin- spotting and adds a nice touch to each table. Monograms or custom image gobos are also a popular option. You can have your name, initials, family crest, or any design projected on the dance floor, or on the wall above your sweetheart table. In addition, you can have several “breakup” patterns projected on the ceiling to add an extra layer of texture or depth to your reception.
Other lights can be used to spotlight your first dance and all the special events. These spotlights help create a formal atmosphere. They also help to make your pictures look spectacular. Another option, if you are having an outdoor reception, is to add Italian style market lights. These strings of lights are used for outdoor area lighti
ng, but also add a traditional flair to your event.
If having some form of décor lighting isn’t an option for you, don’t forget the candles! Displaying candles and votives of different sizes and shapes on your tables and around the venue will make a tremendous impact on the ambiance of your wedding. Sometimes just the candles are enough to make your reception beautiful. However, adding subtle decorative lighting is a great way to set your wedding apart from others.

We have been so lucky to have had Wendy Walker with our staff since 2006. She is a fantastic member of our team and has a presence on and off stage like no other. She has been known to get crowds of 10 to 1000 up out of their seats and enjoying the party.
Check her out in this Video clip talking about what she does.

We are so honored to be a part of a large event that is being hosted by Nanele Baker at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in San Pedro.
Our team will be setting up the lighting for this event and we will be sure to share some of our pictures afterwards on our facebook page.
This is a one of a kind hotel that is a sight to behold with an enchanting locale and beautiful grounds that includes oppulent pools, manicured lawns and it’s very own marina.

The views from the hotel at night are just breathtaking to say the least.
IF you are looking for a perfect place to have a conference, host a bridal tea, celebrate a Birthday, or have a dream wedding this is one amazing location with a staff that is there to cater to your every need.
We were really excited to get the oppurtunity to do this really cool Biz Bash After Party. It was presented by Elite OC Productions at the Pacific Electric Lofts in downtown Los Angeles. SOme people would wonder what Invisible Touch would be doing at an event like this, right? Well we lit up some AMAZING creations by Marc Entin of ICE BULB. Who would have ever thought of the wickedly creative things that could be done with ice until this night. They weren’t your average sculptures of ice, these were ICE CURTAINS! I know what you are thinking but Yes, the entire curtain was made of ice. There was a fantastic attendance at this event and from what we have heard back from the production company the curtains really stood out and were the subject of much of the conversations. We look forward to seeing what else Marc has up his sleeves and from a block of ice and look forward to working with him again.
Saturday December 18th we found ourselves in a Winter Wonderland at the St Regis in Monarch Beach for the Mission Hospital Gala. It was a Spectacular event for which we provided lighting.
As guests entered the Gala they were greeted by this beautiful entryway where we added a few snowflakes to the mix. Once they came into the ballroom they were drenched in a purple for that starry night feel of a winter wonderland with the stars twinkling on the ceiling.
We had the pleasure of working with the Wayne Foster Orchestra. They provided their stage lighting while we did a little up lighting around the room to bring in a little extra flair.
This event was truly magnificent and all that attended felt like they truly were in a Winter Wonderland.
