Katey McCausey
Katey McCausey, also known as DJ KaMcCauZey, is a certified DJ from the world-renowned Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles. She graduated top of her class in 2014, and also has a Master's Degree in dance from the University of California, Irvine. With a wide range of dance experiences, including hip-hop, swing, jazz, tap, and ballet, she has a vast knowledge of musical genres and knows how to use it to make any mix and event second to none.
KaMcCauZey knows how to mix songs, not just fade in and out like the radio. She's one of a few female DJ's who knows how to mix vinyl on turntables and plays real sets, with no "sync" button or hitting play on a playlist. Katey is highly organized and pays attention to every detail, including how your guests are responding to each song that's played allowing her to adapt and make sure every event is enjoyable and is executed perfectly. She was trained by world-renowned DJs and continues taking lessons to hone her skills. She has DJ’d for artists and brands such as Snoop Dogg, Bloomingdales, Macy's, Gold’s Gym, Nike, and casinos to name just a few.
